Liquid product that lowers pH and alkalinity in swimming pools.
Low Down Spec Sheet
To LOWER pH: Do normal pH test. If pH is HIGH, add acid demand reagent to specimen sample one drop at a time. (Place cap on vial and mix thoroughly after adding each drop), count the number of drops required to change the specimen sample to the 7.2 to 7.6 range. Add 24 fluid oz. of Low Down per 10,000 gallons for each drop, evenly around the perimeter of the pool.
TO LOWER ALKALINITY: Add 8 oz. per 1,000 gallons of pool water to one spot in the deep end of the pool to lower “total alkalinity” by 10 ppm. It is recommended total alkalinity be lowered in 10 ppm increments waiting 3 to 4 hours between each application. DO NOT MIX IN CONCENTRATED FORM WITH CHLORINE (BLEACH) OR OTHER POOL CHEMICALS.
