CitraTar – Scented Solvent & Asphalt Remover From ITD

For Tar and Asphalt removal: (Soaking the concrete surface with water prior to application assists in the removal of the tar or asphalt). Product should be used directly and cannot be diluted in any way. Spray directly onto tar or asphalt to be removed, allow to penetrate for a minimum of 15 minutes, longer for thicker tar or asphalt splash. Rinse with high pressure and butyl based cleaner. Rinse thoroughly. May be applied through a pump up sprayer, a trigger sprayer, or brushed onto surface. The unique gel will cling to all vertical surfaces for an extended dwell time. Allow 3-5 minutes for product to penetrate the tar and asphalt. For thick soils scrubbing or brushing may be necessary to allow product to reach the substrate. Once tar is suspended simply wash away with a hose or power washer.
