All Purpose Parts Cleaner Spec Sheet
ALL-PURPOSE PARTS CLEANER should be used hot (110°F TO 180°F) for best results. Mix All Purpose Parts Cleaner powder with water to the desired concentration (4 to 8 oz. per gallon of water) depending on the degree of cleaning required. Use in soak tank, spray cleaners or immersion cleaners. Cleaning time will depend upon the amount and type of soil being removed. Always rinse cleaned parts with water. To reduce rusting, do not rinse iron or steel parts. Rust prevention may be required on iron or steel for extended storage after cleaning. See ITD's Rust Inhibitor LV (66500).
DO NOT add powder to hot water. Violent spattering may result. Break up any lumps and gradually sprinkle powder into cold water to prevent spattering, then add to hot tank. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Always wear safety gloves and glasses when handling this powder or mixing and using solution. Avoid diluting with acid as hazardous fumes may result.
